United Societies of Balkans (U.S.B.) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization based in Thessaloniki, Greece working in the field of youth mobility, participation and facilitating youth awareness about social issues. It was founded in 2008 by the inception of a group of active young people who wanted to address the social issues which affect the youngsters in the Balkans and Eastern Europe. The vision of the organisation is the promotion of youth mobility, youth involvement and participation, voluntarism and human rights.

Key areas of the organization’s activities concern the defence of human rights, the organization of youth related projects such as youth exchanges and training courses, which can bring young people from Balkans and Europe together, and the organization of local interventions, seminars and multimedia productions. It envisions a global and inclusive society, where citizens are equally empowered to contribute in the shaping of a world with less prejudice, discrimination and other forms of injustice


Gaziantep Eğitim Gençlik Derneği (GEGED) is one of the biggest and most active youth centre in South East of Turkey Gaziantep city. It was established in 2007 by a group of activist young people, teachers and lawyers. Since then more than 500 hundred young people joined the mobility projects of the organisation and it has hosted around 600 young people.

 After the Syrian conflict GEGED changed many things on its structure and started to help the wellness and education of Syrian Migrants. . They are organising solidarity campaigns humanitarian aid activities and providing learning opportunities for migrant’s youth and adults. Organisation also cooperates with directorate of education and directorate of youth services. We are assisting schools in neighbourhood and organising non-formal learning events for students in their problems of motivation and early school leaving issues.


JOVENES HACIA LA SOLIDARIDAD Y EL DESARROLLO is a non-governmental organisation that arises from university young people motivated for the social commitment in a social disadvantaged neighbourhood of Valencia – Spain in 1999. Those youngsters from Valencia but also coming from different countries, could combine their studies with social participation and commitment within the more disadvantaged collectives bringing their time and skills for social actions.

They believe in an open minded equal society where there is no breaking down physical, cultural and simbolic borders that are separating it, We search for cooperative actions, where human dignity should be promoted over any cultural or national identity, and we seek for values as democracy, freedom, personal growing and social empowerment of individuals within a collective perspective.

Organisation is running diverse actions into, cooperation, social participation, Sensitizing and social inclussion projects both into European context, mostly focusing in youth, but not exclusively, and we also run actions into development and comunitarian leadership in rural contexts in Latinamerica (Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador and Nicaragua).One of our main work issues are youth leadership and entrepreneurship as tools for social change.


Established in 2001, Yasar University has quickly become an ideal environment for research, personal development and learning by its 9 faculties, 2 graduate schools, 4 vocational school, EU Research Centre, Open and Distance Learning Centre, Knowledge & Technology Transfer Office. Yasar university serves 9403 students in total including 1269 associate degree students, 7294 undergraduates and 840 graduate and postgraduate students. The University has a workforce of 422 academic and 247 administrative staff. Over 62 degree programs are offered in its departments and institutions with English as the medium of instruction for most of the programmes.

Since 2005, Yasar University has participated in over 75 EU funded projects, established international partnerships and developed strong links with business sector and other universities. The university is coordinating two Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnerships in the field of Higher Education, one KA2 Strategic Partnership in the field of Youth. Yasar University is also an accredited European Voluntary Service organization and implement EVS projects within the framework of Erasmus+ programme on a regular basis as a sending and coordinating institution.


JYIF works to Increase the youth active participation in the development process, through ensuring the chances of participation in the local and international meetings, and emphasize the youth initiative to develop the society and integrate in it. On the other hand spread the cooperation and peace spirit between the Jordanian youths and the rest of the world youths for a better future.

They work for youth between the age 13-30 years old, from all the Jordanian slices without exceptions, from those whom got mental, movements, materiality, or cultural challenges. Organisation reinforces voluntary work concept, youth leadership concept in our local society, civilized connection with the world youths, increase the youths participation in the civic society organization, empower the youths with skills, personal and organizational abilities in the youth field.
